T-Nut mounting is a useful tool for attaching legs to a sofa, lounge, or piece of furniture with a standard 5/16" lag screw. To use it, simply drill a hole in the wood that's roughly the same size as the T-section's diameter, then tap the T-Nut into the wood using a hammer or mallet until it's flush with the surface. Make sure the hole is deep enough for the screw to fit through the T-Nut and into the frame of the furniture you're fixing it to.
