TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF SALE
This agreement is subject to the terms and conditions below, provided that the term or condition is not in breach of any applicable law or statute at the time and place of acceptance of this order by Urban Hardware.
SPECIFICATIONS
You accept responsibility for the final selection of design, style, size, materials and suitability of any made or unmade items ordered or purchased. We reserve the right to change dimensions, design and construction of our products without prior notice where such changes do not affect the look, functionality or suitability of purpose of the product.
WARRANTY
The products are warranted against failure due to a manufacturing fault for the life of the product. Wear and tear is not included in this warranty. Any repair or replacement under this warranty is limited to the defective part only. This warranty is in addition to any rights a consumer may have under the Trade Practices Act and similar legislation in the relevant jurisdiction. This warranty will end immediately if the product becomes defective as a consequence of misuse, lack of proper care and maintenance or poor handling in transit.
Urban Hardware reserves the right to determine whether a part has failed due to a defect or wear and tear. Furniture Legs reserves the right to decide whether a component should be repaired or replaced. Urban Hardware customer service must be notified of any defect within 14 days of the defect occurring.
This warranty applies to the original purchaser only, who may not assign or transfer any benefit conferred by this warranty. Warranty is only valid with a copy of a receipt for proof of purchase.
CANCELLATIONS
Orders can be cancelled for change of mind for a full refund of the cost of the order. Once the goods have been dispatched the customer is liable for any transportation or postage costs to return the product for change of mind.
PAYMENT
Full payment must be made before goods can be dispatched. The title of the goods will remain with Urban Hardware until all outstanding amounts owed have been paid.
CONTRACT OF SALE
Urban Hardware reserves the right to terminate or suspend the whole of or any part of any agreement between Urban Hardware and the purchaser at any time.
INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY
The purchaser acknowledges that all intellectual property including designs, techniques, methods of manufacture, photographs, specifications, artwork, text, patented inventions and registered designs remain the property of Urban Hardware. The purchaser will not knowingly allow any intellectual property belonging to Urban Hardware to be reverse engineered, pirated or copied. Failure to comply with these conditions may result in compensation being payable to Urban Hardware.
